
EB-5 PROCESS
The EB-5 Program is a federal program that provides foreign investors the opportunity to obtain US Citizenship in the United States. To qualify for the program, foreign investors must invest $1.05 million ($800,000 in a TEA Zone) in a new commercial enterprise that creates or preserves at least 10 full-time jobs for qualified U.S. workers. If the investment is successful and the requirements of the program are met, the investor and their family can become eligible to become US Citizens.

Preparation
Hire an EB-5 Attorney and select a qualifying investment project. Work on the source of funds and personal documents.
Submit $800,000 investment.

I-526 Petition
File an I-526 petition for a conditional green card.
(Apply for EAD, Travel permit, and change of staus if applicable)

Conditional Green Card
Upon I-526E petition approval, receive a conditional green card, move to the U.S. and hold that for 2 years.

I-829 Petition
Within 90 days of expiration of the conditional green card, submit an I-829 petition. Following approval, your green card will become permanent, and you will be eligible to apply for citizenship in 5 years.
